Brazilian attractors on electronic music
- album and band name
- about
- An experimentation on recreating the natural groove that characterizes "Samba", a well known Brazilian rhythm, acting over synthetic entities that resembles classic Samba's percussion instruments like "Zurdo", "Snare", "Repique", and "Agogo" among others. What really was a nice challenge besides to achieve a characteristic groove and alternative analogue sounds, was to construct by pure synthesis a series of instruments capable to produce rich articulations, something so natural while playing acoustic percussion but usually not exploited on percussive sounds generated by pure synthesis.
Almost all elements created from scratch using only Ableton Live's synthesizers and effects.

I produced this song while touring on Brazil, a great place in all aspects, from his rich inspirations to the warmness of his wonderful people. I want to say thanks to Brazil and to all my great Brazilian friends, they makes me feel like in my own home when I'm there.
